“‘Rona-pocalypse” is a contemporary take on the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse from Albrecht Durer. Pop culture characters replacing the traditional figures, set against a backdrop of a burning cityscape. The piece has an underlying theme that ties to our modern experience of pandemic, at the same time bringing modernity to the theme of revelation. The chaotic scene captures the turmoil and unpredictability of modern times, underscored by the global impact of the pandemic.
